Community’s Choice Awards Event Décor in Salem and Eugene, Oregon

Salem Balloons & Flowers recently had the honor of providing professional event décor for two 2026 Community’s Choice Awards celebrations: one hosted at the Graduate by Hilton Eugene in Eugene, Oregon, and the other at the Salem Convention Center in Salem, Oregon.

These annual celebrations bring together local businesses, organizations, community leaders, and professionals to recognize the people and companies selected as favorites within their communities. We were delighted to help create a polished and memorable setting where the award recipients and their accomplishments could be celebrated.

Illuminated Marquee Letters for the Awards Stage→

For both events, our large illuminated marquee letters became an important part of the stage presentation. The letters created a highly visible “BEST OF 2026” display that complemented the scale of each venue and helped establish a strong focal point for the awards ceremonies.

Marquee letters work particularly well for corporate events, award ceremonies, galas, conferences, grand openings, and milestone celebrations. In addition to providing decorative impact, they reinforce the purpose of the occasion and create a recognizable feature that appears beautifully in professional photography and guest photos.

At both the Graduate by Hilton Eugene and the Salem Convention Center, the illuminated letters helped visually anchor the stage while allowing the award recipients to remain the focus of the celebration.

A Branded Magazine Photo Booth Experience→

Our life-size Magazine Photo Booth was also customized for the Community’s Choice Awards. Featuring event-specific banners, elegant florals, and coordinated balloon accents, the booth provided guests with an interactive photo opportunity designed especially for the occasion.

Rather than functioning as a traditional enclosed photo booth, this large-scale installation creates the appearance of stepping inside the cover of a magazine. Guests can pose within the structure while the customized graphics frame the photograph and highlight the event’s name and branding.

Throughout the celebrations, award winners and attendees used the booth to commemorate the evening, share their achievements, and capture photographs with colleagues and friends. We were also delighted to see Miss Oregon among the guests enjoying the décor and posing within the magazine-inspired display.

Although she was a wonderful addition to the photographs, the installation was created for the entire event, giving all attendees and honorees an inviting place to celebrate their accomplishments.

Designing for Two Distinct Oregon Venues

Producing décor for events in two different cities requires thoughtful planning, organization, and attention to each venue’s layout and event schedule.

The Eugene celebration took place at the Graduate by Hilton Eugene, a distinctive hotel and event venue located near the University of Oregon. The Salem celebration was held at the Salem Convention Center, one of the city’s leading venues for conferences, galas, awards programs, and large corporate gatherings.

Our team coordinated the delivery, installation, and removal of the décor for both locations, ensuring that each display was prepared before guests arrived and presented consistently across the two celebrations.
