Do you offer balloon bouquets or balloon décor? and if you do both, how to differentiate them on your site?

Actually, we offer both categories. We offer balloon bouquet gifts and balloon decorations for events.

How far in advance do I need to place an order for balloon decorations?

Balloon decorations take time, dedication, and attention to detail. we require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. I always do all I can to accommodate last-minute orders, but even when I’d love to help all my last-minute clients, the truth is that my schedule is limited, and I need to work on a first come first served basis. My delivery slots tend to fill up quickly and it can be challenging to find open slots if your event date is too close. I recommend placing your order as early as possible since this will increase your chances of finding an open setup slot that fits your schedule.

Do you offer same day delivery?

Yes, we do offer same-day delivery for some of our products. However, this will depend on several factors such as the time you place your order, our availability, and the complexity of your item. Our cutoff time for same-day delivery is 11:30 AM PST.

If you place your order before 11:30 AM PST and our delivery calendar shows the same day open, then you can rest assured that if you order same-day delivery, your order will be delivered the same day in the afternoon. However, please note that some of our balloon bouquets and specially crafted balloon decorations require more time to prepare, and our delivery calendar will limit your options to the minimum time we need to elaborate and prepare your order.

Do you have a Cancellation/Refund Policy?

Yes, we do have a cancellation refund policy. Please note that all our sales are final. This is because we work with perishable products such as balloons, flowers, candy, and fruits. These products are not meant to be reused, and once we start working on your order, the products will no longer be suitable for any other order.

However, our focus is always to help our customers in any way we can. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible, and together we can work to find a solution. We strive to provide the highest quality products and services, and we want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.

What's your process to place an order for balloon décor?

Our Process

For traditional balloon bouquets, we offer same-day delivery Monday through Friday, with a cutoff time of 11:30 AM. Simply follow the steps outlined on the product page to place your order.

More intricate designs require additional preparation time. The specific lead time for each piece is clearly indicated on the product’s calendar.

For event décor, our process is designed to be seamless and stress-free:

  1. Submit a request for a personalized quote
  2. Review and approve your custom design
  3. We handle the full installation on your event day

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance. For optimal availability and design planning, securing your date one month ahead is highly encouraged.

Do you charge a cleaning fee?

For full-service décor packages, we return after your event to carefully remove our décor.

Our take-down service is focused exclusively on the removal of the elements we provided. While we do not offer post-event cleaning services, we ensure that all of our rental pieces are collected with care and professionalism.

Can I make changes to my order after I've placed it?

While I always strive to accommodate my customers' requests, it may not always be possible to make changes to an order once it has been placed. The feasibility of making changes depends on various factors, including the nature of the change, the availability of time and materials, and any prior commitments to other customers. If the requested change is within my capacity to fulfill and does not disrupt previously scheduled orders, I will certainly make every effort to accommodate it. However, please understand that last-minute changes can be challenging and may not always be feasible. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such situations.

Do you charge for delivery?
  • We offer free delivery for all orders $55+ within our free delivery zone.
  • A flat delivery fee applies to all orders under $55, or outside our free delivery zone. This fee varies depending on the distance, from $10-$50 max.
  • For decoration services outside our delivery zone, please request a personalized quote.
  • When given the wrong address, we waste valuable time, and an extra fee of $10.00 will be charged.

Do you offer specific delivery times?

For balloon and flower gifts, we offer two delivery windows: morning or afternoon. You can select your preferred window at checkout, and your gift will be delivered within that timeframe.

While we understand the desire for exact delivery times, we’re unable to guarantee specific times due to traffic, weather, and other variables. Delivery windows allow us to ensure your gift arrives in the best possible condition.

For balloon décor, more precise timing is required.

Do you offer anonymous delivery service?

We are unable to provide an anonymous delivery service. All orders must have a disclosed sender.

Can I pick up my balloons?

We are a locally owned, service-based business based in Salem, Oregon. We come to you, bringing joy to your doorstep or wherever you’re celebrating with thoughtfully designed balloon décor, curated balloon gifts, and flower arrangement deliveries.

Do you sell helium-filled balloons for outdoor release?

Loose helium-filled balloons from Salem Balloons & Flowers are intended for indoor ceiling décor only and are not to be released outdoors.

Balloon releases can harm wildlife, contribute to environmental pollution, and may be restricted by local regulations. For this reason, we do not support or permit the release of helium balloons.

All clients are informed of this policy at the time of purchase. Once the balloons have been delivered or picked up, responsibility transfers to the client. Salem Balloons & Flowers is not liable for any misuse after delivery.
