To help everything flow smoothly, please review these important details:
1. Your Reservation
Your event date is reserved once your booking is confirmed and payment is completed.
Production planning, sourcing, scheduling, and inventory allocation may begin immediately after booking. Because our décor services are custom-prepared and event-specific, cancellations and rescheduling requests are handled according to our Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy.
2. Cancellation & Date Changes
Event dates are reserved specifically for your celebration.
Rescheduling requests are subject to Salem Balloons & Flowers’ availability and may require adjustments if materials, specialty items, seasonal elements, or perishable products need to be repurchased.

3. Arrival, Access & Scope of Service
Our team will arrive at the agreed time or within the confirmed delivery window, subject to unforeseen circumstances.
Please ensure the delivery and setup area is accessible, clear, and ready when our team arrives. Delays caused by unavailable access, undisclosed venue restrictions, last-minute placement changes, or circumstances outside our control may affect the installation timeline.
Our service is limited to the delivery and setup specified in your booking. Takedown is included only when expressly listed.
Our services do not include moving furniture, handling another vendor’s equipment, loading personal belongings, or cleaning up the event.
Requests for additional services must be submitted to Salem Balloons & Flowers management in advance and are subject to approval, availability, and additional charges. On-site team members are not authorized to approve additional work.
4. After Delivery & Setup
Once your décor is delivered or the agreed setup is complete, it is under your care.
Please follow the care and handling instructions provided by our team. Do not apply treatment products or alter the arrangement without our approval.
We cannot assume responsibility for damage or changes in appearance, safety, or performance resulting from handling, movement, modifications, or relocation by others after delivery. Unauthorized alterations void applicable installation guarantees to the extent permitted by law.
If your order includes rental items, the handling requirements in Section 6 also apply.
5. Set-N-Go Selections
Set-N-Go pieces are designed for ease and flexibility and do not include rental items unless expressly listed in your booking.
Service is complete upon delivery or completion of the agreed setup. Post-event removal and cleanup are not included unless specifically stated in your booking.
After delivery and setup, you are responsible for the care, handling, and disposal of your non-rental décor.
6. Rental Add-Ons (If Included)
The following requirements apply only if your booking includes marquee letters, numbers, specialty props, carts, structures, or other rental items.
Rental items remain the property of Salem Balloons & Flowers and are reserved for your agreed rental period.
They are for display purposes only and must not be moved, modified, climbed on, sat on, or used in any way other than their intended purpose.
The client is responsible for damage, loss, theft, or misuse during the rental period, except to the extent caused by Salem Balloons & Flowers, including applicable repair or replacement costs.
Marquee Placement & Power
Unless an alternative power arrangement is included in your booking, the client must provide a working outlet within safe reach of the agreed display location. The area must be accessible and ready when our team arrives.
Placement changes require our team’s approval before installation. We will not run cords under rugs or carpets or use an arrangement our team considers unsafe.
If suitable power is unavailable, we may offer another safe location if time and venue access permit. Otherwise, installation may be delayed or the illuminated display may be unable to proceed.
We will not leave marquee letters, numbers, or related equipment for another person to connect.
Handling & Connections
Only Salem Balloons & Flowers personnel may place, connect, move, disconnect, or remove our marquee letters, numbers, and related cords.
The client must ensure that guests, venue personnel, and other vendors do not handle these items or change their connections or cord routing.
Other rental pieces must not be moved, altered, or dismantled without our prior approval.
If an urgent safety issue arises, move people away from the display, contact us promptly, and take immediate action as needed to protect people from harm.
Scheduled Takedown
For rental add-ons, the scheduled takedown time marks the end of the rental period. The client must ensure our team has safe, unobstructed access to retrieve our items at that time.
We may notify the on-site contact upon arrival, but a reply or additional permission is not required for us to begin removal.
When feasible, we may allow up to 10–15 minutes for final photographs. This courtesy is not guaranteed and does not extend the rental period.
Any rental extension must be approved by management in advance and is subject to availability and additional charges.
Removal of rental items does not include disposal of Set-N-Go décor or general event cleanup unless expressly listed in your booking.
7. Balloon Care
Balloons are sensitive to their environment and naturally react to temperature changes.
For best results, keep them away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, air vents, sharp objects, and abrasive surfaces.
Balloon longevity varies with environmental conditions and handling. Outdoor designs remain subject to sunlight, wind, rain, and temperature changes.
If your order includes rental installations, please contact us for assistance rather than moving them yourself.
### 8. Gender Reveal Selections (If Applicable)
The following applies if your order includes gender reveal powder, confetti, or related effects:
- Powder effects are for outdoor use only.
- Confetti requires venue approval for indoor or outdoor use.
- Powder may stain clothing, skin, hair, or nearby surfaces.
- Avoid inhaling or ingesting materials and avoid contact
